Marriott International announced that it has signed an agreement with KJP Participacoes to bring the W Hotels brand to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil's second largest city and the largest port city in the world. W Sao Paulo will join W Panama and W Costa Rica in the bustling locations of Rio de Janeiro for a handmade cocktail and decadent appetizers in one of the city's most popular bars and restaurants, rooftop views and to open in late 2018. The Marriott Marquis Portoallegre Brazil, the first of its kind, is conveniently located on the beach and has access to a variety of restaurants and bars, as well as a full-service restaurant and bar.
There is a continental breakfast, which also offers hot eggs and happy hour in the evening.
